Welcome to Domestic Chicky! If you have come here from 5 minutes for mom, let me take minute to introduce myself – I live in California, I am a mom of 2 boys, and I am still trying to figure out what I want to do when(if) I grow up. You have stopped by at just the right time, as I am getting ready to go on a road trip today to Las Vegas to live blog the 2008 World Bunco Championship, and you’re invited to go along! Pack quickly, and don’t forget your lucky charms!
Not those silly, but bring them anyway, in case we get hungry!
So anyway, this is my little space on the web, and I tend to redecorate a lot, so don’t be surprised to see it look different every so often…I also have a site called The Apronista, and can you guess what it’s about? Right! Aprons! Whether you collect them, make them, make fun of them (although we don’t encourage it), or just love to wear them, you will find something to love there – we also have lots of giveaways (there’s one right now!), so there’s that too…
I also contribute to a fun new site called Blissfully Domestic - We have some great bloggers contributing posts for just about anything under the sun – food, health, beauty, crafts, fashion, etc…there is also a great network for the site, and if you would like to join, let me know and I will send you the link!!
Ok, we are getting ready to go – I made coffee, sandwiches, brownies 
, and other snacks, and we’re about to take this party on the road! Check back frequently this weekend to see all the action at Caesars Palace! I have never played Bunco before, but I am looking forward to learning!

I’ve given up trying to get to every blog.
Cute blog title! My mother is “chickie” instead of grandma, and my husband’s family used to raise chickens back when his grandparents were young – they had a chicken farm in TX! I love little chickens.
