I’m dreaming of a white Christmas….

…but I don’t think I am likely to get it here in California. I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for being a part of the Apronista, for all the emails and comments, and for making this site so much fun. Have the Merriest of Christmases with your family, and I will see you all on the 29th- I am going to spend the week baking, sewing, and hanging out with my little guys. So have some eggnog, eat a cookie, stay warm and I will see you in a week!!

Disneyland “Treats” Bloggers

As you may remember, I was fortunate enough to be invited to a Christmas Event at the Disneyland Resort a couple of weeks ago, and we had such a good time. There were probably 50 bloggers invited, and unfortunately I didn’t get to meet as many as I would have liked, but I did get to meet Marcy and Suz, who were an absolute blast, and my family and I had the best time in the park Friday night and Saturday. From a delicious buffet dinner and reception at the GORGEOUS Grand Californian Hotel, with lessons on creating Gingerbread Houses, Disney knew how to make this group feel like the amazing moms they are. I still have pictures I need to share with you, but in the meantime, check out this video featuring Decorating Expert David Caranci:

Kid Friendly Holiday Cocktails

posted by Divine Domesticity

Craving a delicious, non alcoholic beverage? How about one that tastes like delicious apple sherbet? This is the one! This Johnny Apple-Cider-Seed Mocktail is a flavor explosion that hits just the right spot.

Johnny Apple-Cider-Seed Mocktail
Makes 1-2 servings

1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Splash of OJ
7 Up or similar soda (to thin drink to your consistency liking)
Apple Cider

1. Mix ingredients in a blender. Adjust according to your tastes. I added more than just a splash of OJ, and thinned the mixture out with apple cider and soda until it was satisfactory. YUM!
