Food Foto Friday

Welcome to Food Foto Friday! Food photography has become one of my passions, in addition to providing a great way to share recipes. As much as I love taking food pictures, I ALWAYS forget to take pictures as I cook so hopefully this will keep me accountable. I know since there are lots of FABULOUS food photographers, and blogs full of yummy images, this could be a great way to share blogs, recipes and amazing photos.

Feel free to share blog posts, instagram pictures, flickr links, whatever you like! Please try to visit a couple of the other participants so we all get some FPF love.

I’m going to share tips and tricks that I learn along the way too – and some of the books, posts and other resources I’ve come across.

For my first picture, I am going to share the one that is in the fff button (code is on the sidebar!) – I’m not sure how I decided to take this picture – they were the first strawberries of the year, and looked so yummy against the cheerios in that light that I’m not even sure I poured the milk before I got the shot.

strawberries, bananas and cheerios, oh my!

┬áNow it’s your turn! Leave your link in the linky thingy (you know that’s the technical name, right??), and leave a little FF love :)

PS – I was thinking about doing themes once in awhile – announce the week before, post the following Friday…would you like that? Ideas for themes???

I posted a photo of the Crock Pot Baked Apples I made over the winter…. for some reason I love the juxtaposition of the apple against the stark white background. And I also love the fact that it doesn’t really look like an apple

Hi, Deanna, thanks so much for the well wishes! Had to miss Blissdom, since we are doing our own DIY conference here in ATL this year & I’m heading it up. So exciting & scary too. It’s been quite the year, but lots of blessings along the way. Hugs to you!
