It’s almost my favorite time of year – I am an Autumn nut, and I love everything that goes along with it. I have found some great ideas and things to decorate my mantel with (the rest of the house will just have to wait!), and when I get it “just so” I will share pics. In the meantime, I have been uber-occupied with the following:
- I gave in and upgraded my ipod to the ipod touch – and I am hopelessly in LURVE. 600 songs, silly and quite useful apps (list of my favorites coming soon!) – it’s like having a wee laptop in my pocket.
- MadMen – I feel like the last person on the planet to fall in love with Don Draper and swoon over Betty Draper’s wardrobe. I started with Season 2, and have LOVED season 3 so far, but I have season 1 on my Christmas wishlist…(oh MY gosh – did you see last night’s episode?)
- SPEAKING of Christmas – it’s less than 100 days away! 95 to be exact! I always swear THIS will be the year I get organized for Christmas, and each year I forget to remember – darn mommy brain!
- Mr Man and I decided to treat the family to Disneyland Annual Passes. It’s great fun for us to be able to go almost anytime we want to, and I am really looking forward to taking the boys there for the holidays.
- I have engaged a number of new clients this last month, including my first foreign language blog (she loves in PARIS!! Squeee!) – I have to say I really LOVE all the new people I get to work with.
- New Album – Harry Connick Jr. – swoon – review and giveaway coming SOON! ‘Nuff said.
- Watching Notre Dame football (GO IRISH!) – Looks like Charlie might get to keep his job for a little while longer…
- Flu Shots – Check. Stocked up on juice, homemade chicken stock, advil, herbal heating pads (made by yours truly, thankyouverymuch) – check. I am DETERMINED not to have a cold & flu seaon like we did last year.
- Speaking of herbal heating pads – which would you prefer – a tutorial to make them, or a place to buy them?
- I don’t really have a number 10, but 9 things in 10 days sounded kinda lame, and I am trying to avoid being any lamer than I already am.
We’ve yet to take our kids to Disney {gasp}. But, SD county doesn’t seem so far away. Have you ever bought passes before? Which level did you get? Any advice for taking 6 kids, ages 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12?

I hate it when I have 9 things to list 🙂 How about how to make them AND where to buy them!

Wish I had Disney annual passes. Wish I could even GO. Oh well. I’ll have to live vicariously through you. Give Minnie a high-five from me.
I haven’t seen the first few seasons of Mad Men. Just started watching it, and um, not so sure it’s a fave. Just not sure. They all seem so screwed up!!!! Kinda depresssing.
Can’t believe Christmas is only 100 days away. I’d better run…too much to do before then…
