It seems a lot of people are already putting up their Halloween Decorations, and fall themed decor…I have never been a change-with-the-seasons kind of person, but I really like the idea! What you are doing to change up the look of your house this time of year? Do you get into it as much as Christmas?

  1. I get into fall more then Christmas. I love fall. Love, love, love fall. And I start early, like a few weeks ago. And as it gets closer to Halloween I start to sprinkle my deco with that stuff. But I’m into the folksy stuff, so it really has a longer “shelf life” then your typical Halloween stuff. Of course my living, bed and dining rooms have kind of a fall look year round. Did I mention I love fall???!!!

    I love that wreath photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. We ventured out this morning in the cool crisp air to pick up some pumpkins and mums, so at least the front of my house will be decorated for autumn. It is by far my most favorite time of year.

  3. I stick a few things out for fall. I may get into it a bit more this year, I’m “feelin it” more than usual. So, I have hubby finding me some hay bales and I’m going to get some cutesy stuff to make an arrangement by the side door. Harvest du jour.

  4. i love the wreath. i need to get a new fall one too.

  5. Fall is the most wonderful season!!! I always mean to decorate for it, but sadly, I don’t nearly do as much as I do for Christmas (which I love, as well!)

This year I decided I’m going to do more. I’m even making paper mache pumpkins. We’ll see how it goes. The baby is due end of next month, so I might be too tired/soar/cranky/weepy to give the home the attention it deserves!

  6. I get into Fall decorations too – we have to do a simluated change of season here, because Fall doesn’t exist in Florida. I have a fall wreath for the door and some pumpkins and fall baskets. I’m behind schedule this year though. It’s still 90 degrees outside every day, so I’m not really feeling it yet, I suppose.

  7. I try and decorate more since I had kids. I will have some decorations for outside, some things for the kitchen, not as much as for Christmas but at least something.

  8. I decorate almost as much for Fall as for Christmas. I love decorating though. I dont like taking down all the Christmas stuff I must admit. Two years ago I left it up until Feb. when my son took it down. LOL

  9. Have to admit I love fall for all it’s natural beauty and the homespun goodness that goes with the season.

You have such a lovely blog full of creative things to get a person inspired. Thanks for sharing.
