After a long winter cooped up with my baby girl, Violet, I am ready for Spring. I’m craving fresh fruits and flowers, walks in the park and a warm breeze.
Fresh fruits provide a guilt-free indulgence, although to be honest, I very rarely feel guilty for eating any particular food. Here are two takes on a delicious and utterly simple dessert.
Blueberries with Brown Sugar Cream
Makes 4 servings
2 cups blueberries (1 pint)
1/3 cup regular or low-fat sour cream
4 teaspoons brown sugar
1. Mix the sour cream and brown sugar in a small bowl. Serve alongside blueberries.
De-constructed Strawberries Romanof
1. Dip the strawberry in the sour cream, then lightly in the brown sugar. Enjoy!
